Welcome to the Pittsburgh Chapter Page!

Safe Families for Children Pittsburgh hosts children in an extended family-like setting creating community between families and volunteers in a shared desire to keep children safe and families intact.  We are a nonprofit, volunteer movement that works within our local community.  We strive to work with the community to add a layer of support to help kids and parents feel safe, happy and whole.  Our support to families looks different for each family.  Sometimes we host children, other times, we are a shoulder to lean on, and for some families we help with connections to services in the community.  Each family is unique and each partnership with Safe Families mirrors that.  We hope that you get in touch with us to see how you can best connect with our chapter!
